Hand knit scarves lovingly made in Maine or New York (or somewhere in between) at meetings, in the car, in front of the tube, with a good book, or in a daze

(ah, yes, often in a daze).

Long ago, but not so far away, a trio of sisters grew up in central Maine and lived to tell about it.

  • Anne, the eldest , the “woo-woo” one, migrated to Westchester County in NY but is loved in spite of it.
  • Sara, the weird but clever middle child, landed in southern Maine while she is not without some talents, she is the dim bulb in a family of bright artists.
  • Jane, the youngster and the “thoughty” and outrageously competent one, holds down the fort at the ancestral estate in Piscataquis County in Maine.

...and they all have this problem

...they are addicted to knitting scarves and had to start selling them in order to support their habit
